ABOUT ME
Developmental Nurse Specialist based in South Wales
I've worked for many years as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Children with Additional Needs, across neurodevelopment, neurodiversity and other childhood health and developmental needs. This work has always been something I'm really passionate about.
I offer private independent services and consultancy, working in partnership with families who may be worried about their child's needs or feeling unsure where to turn.

I support children and young people with a range of developmental and additional needs, including autism, ADHD, medical conditions and additional learning needs. Support is individual to each child and family, whether you are looking for help before, during or after a diagnosis.
No. You do not need a formal diagnosis to access support. I work with families who have concerns about their child's development or neurodevelopment, including families who are waiting for an assessment or are unsure what support their child may need.
Yes. I provide pre-diagnosis support for families who are concerned that their child may be autistic, have ADHD or medical or additional needs. This can include helping you understand your concerns, gather relevant information, navigate the referral process and identify practical strategies to support your child while you are waiting for assessment.
I provide post-diagnosis support to help families understand their child's needs and what the diagnosis may mean for everyday life. Together, we can develop practical strategies specific to your child's individual needs, strengths and circumstances.
I provide independent developmental and neurodevelopmental support, including pre- and post-diagnosis support and reports that can support differential diagnostic referrals. I'm currently not offering diagnostic assessments but if you are looking for a formal autism or ADHD diagnosis, I can discuss your circumstances and help you understand the appropriate referral pathway.
Yes. Home visits allow me to understand your child's needs within their natural home environment and see how they manage everyday routines and activities. This can help identify practical strategies that are realistic for your family.
